Delaney Orders Assistant Patterson to Co-operate With Local Authorities
In response to a telegram sent to Chief Factory Inspector Delaney giving official notification of the Canonsburg theatre disaster, Coroner James T. Heffran this afternoon received a telegraphic message in which the inspector stated that he wired Deputy Inspector Patterson of this district to begin steps for a rigid investigation of this tragedy.
Patterson has been instructed by his chief to co-operate with Coroner Heffran and the other Washington County authorities in the investigation and to lend every assistance possible.
Deputy Patterson is already at Canonsburg and is now at work securing data to present to Chief Delaney and Coroner Heffran.
